The process of certifying cloud computing services for security—known as FedRAMP—is in real danger of collapsing from skyrocketing costs, a lack of transparency, and confusion about the relative value of the different paths to certification. The Cloud Computing Caucus Advisory Group explores ways to improve the process through a public discussion of Fix FedRAMP—a new report issued by the FedRAMP Fast Forward Industry Advocacy Group that provides recommendations to put this critical program back on the path to success.
The program was held March 3 in the Rayburn House Office Building Gold Room, Room 2168. To view the presentations, please click here. To view Steve O’Keeffe’s opening remarks, please click here.
